Every price here was copied off the vendor’s own page, and carries the day it was copied.

Write to the bench

Corrections to a price, a tool that belongs on the wall, or a vendor that has changed its terms — all of it is welcome, and none of it needs a form.

How to reach us

Email [email protected]. That is the whole mechanism. There is no contact form on this site and no sign-up box anywhere on it, which keeps the privacy page very short.

What is most useful to send

A price that has moved. These pages change often, and a reader who notices before the next re-read is doing real work. Send the page address and, if you can, what it says now. It gets re-read at the source rather than edited from a description.

A tool that belongs on the wall. Say which of the six jobs it does — indexing, position, links, crawling, keywords or on-page scoring. A tool that does not map onto one of those is usually a different category wearing an SEO label, and saying which job it does is the fastest way to get it considered.

A vendor whose terms have changed. Affiliate programmes open, close and move networks constantly. If a tool named here as having no partner scheme has started one, or one of ours has closed, that changes what this site is allowed to say about it and it wants fixing quickly.

A disagreement. If the reasoning on a page is wrong rather than the figures, that is worth more than a typo. The six-job framing is an argument, not a fact, and arguments can be beaten.

What will not get a reply

Guest-post offers, link exchanges and paid-placement proposals. No placement on this site is for sale, no vendor has ever been given sight of a page before publication, and a ranking has never moved because of a commission rate.

Requests to remove a factual statement that is correctly sourced. If a figure is wrong, it gets fixed on the evidence. If it is accurate and inconvenient, it stays.

Response times

This is one person's site, so a reply may take a few days. A price correction gets acted on before it gets answered — the page is usually already fixed by the time the email is returned.
